Wordless Wednesday - Spring Soccer has begun

I've managed to avoid the first few soccer games this spring because I have to wake up early to take Adam to his early morning hockey games. Handling his lollygagging sister and taking them grocery shopping afterwards leaves me exhausted by noontime. Plus all the previous games have been rainy so I couldn't even take my camera and new telephoto lens. There was perfect weather for the game last Sunday (Mother's Day) so I dusted off my soccer picture taking skills to get these shots. The first shot is an awesome goal kick. He graciously scored five goals for me on Mother's Day. The second is his usual goofing around with a teammate on the sidelines. The last is a Charlie Brown football kick (notice his foot is in the air and the ball is still on the ground), where he ended up flat on his back afterwards. If he actually kicked the ball, the ball would've been out of sight, and not such an interesting picture!

I love that last shot...too funny!!! I'm totally looking forward to the day when my children are older and I can go watch them at whatever sport/activity they love. :)

What great pics! I have tried bringing my camera to my hubbys soccer games but can never get a good picture.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. We have one more thing in common - we both have an Adam (mine is my husband). Enjoy soccer season. It is always a busy time but worthwhile. I'm still waiting to see my daughter score a goal. She only does it when I miss the games!

Kids soccer is always fun and exciting. And when girls and guys play together, it sparks the whole game.

Great action shots!

Regional differences: soccer season is already over here in TX. Started in Feb., if you can believe that!
