Tuesday Toot - Dova's Cross-Stitch

I started Dova's cross-stitch late in her pregnancy and I finally finished it when she was four and a half years old! Granted, I took up knitting and did quite a few knitting projects in between.  I remember doing both at Adam's soccer games.  And she was 8 pounds, 11 ounces, contrary to what the cross-stitch font may say.  A big baby, but still an improvement over Adam's 9 pounds, 8 ounces!

I thought it took a long time to complete Adam's cross-stitch when it was completed when he was 17 months old. I remember starting his when I was pregnant and doing it through the long glucose test where they stick you 6 times over 3 hours (for any pregnant women out there, do NOT eat breakfast before your first glucose test even though they say it is OK to).  But in comparison, I had much more time on my hands when he was a baby than when I had two kids.



At least these didn't take as long as my Chessie hooked rug which took 21 years elapsed time!
