49 Candles

I was cleaning up and found these homemade birthday cards for Doug, who turned 49 last June.  I love Dova's freeform cake explosion, which reminds me of the birthday card she made for me.  She thought it looked terrible and tried to cross it out. Maybe someday she'll appreciate the beauty of it.



Adam, with absolute perfectionism, placed exactly 49 candles on his drawing.  I have no idea how he managed to fit them exactly over the top.  I guess he didn't stand a chance with two perfectionists as parents.
