After the holidays last year, I purchased these giant cookie pans on clearance knowing that Dova loves to bake together (the paper example inserts are way better looking than our creations!).
Indeed, we had a lot of fun creating our giant gingerbread man cookie.
Afterward, she said that we needed to use the pans again in the summer for gingerbread man pizzas. I'm not a huge cook, so I put it off as long as possible. When we finally took the pans out again, she whole-heartedly spread the pizza dough to the edges of the pan and followed my instructions exactly. It made me wonder if I were more of a cook whether we'd spend more time bonding in the kitchen, or whether it would become passé after a while.
It was good enough to eat without baking!
But even more delicious afterward.
I hope that she will always enjoy cooking despite my lack of interest. But most of all, I hope she fondly remembers the precious times she spent with me in the kitchen together.

Fantastic idea for making a pizza oven. I can't wait myself to see more of it. Would you mind to share?
What a cool idea. I always avoid those giant pans because I don't think I'll get enough use out of them. Kids like Christmas all year round, though - fun idea!
