There's a Toad in the Road, We Will Have to Unload!

A Crack in the Track

Sometimes silly lines from children's books get forever stuck in my head.  Like the highly preposterous "There's a toad in the road! We will have to unload."  In this story, Bertie the Bus cannot drive because there is a GIANT toad blocking the way.

I shot this picture of a toad on a patio chair one morning and it reminded me of that line.  Only Dova was brave enough to touch it (against my wishes of course) and she said it was hard and cold.  It was gone when I got back from work.
