Dova's preschool teacher Liz graciously (bravely) invited her students to attend her wedding ceremony. Amazingly enough, the six kids who attended (3 and 4-year-olds), were very quiet and relatively well-behaved. There was no talking or running in the aisles. Of course I had to give a pep talk ahead of time since this was the very first time Dova set foot inside of a church. And it was a perfect opportunity to practice photography under extremely low light conditions. I got to use all three of my lenses!
Just because the kids were relatively well-behaved didn't mean there was no monkey behavior from this girl. I made up a new saying for it, "You can dress her up, but you can't take the monkey out of the girl." Here's proof:
Using the edge of the pew as a foot rest.
Climbing under the pew (see lower left)
Climbing up the wrong side of the steps and onto the wall.
Dova can't resist a good handrail to climb on.
Taking a "rest" on the concrete handicap ramp.
